Nubo Consulting ["Nubo"] are an independent IT consulting firm specialising in assisting SMEs to develop an IT strategy which will enable organisations to grow and to achieve their full potential without the IT infrastructure becoming a burden. Notably we assist SME's with their journey to the Cloud.

Working collaboratively with companies to assist them in utilising IT in the most cost effective and productive methods possible and by utilising the most out of an IT infrastructure, companies can ensure that they are not held back from rapid expansion and growth, yet still achieve cost efficiencies through the pragmatic use of IT.

At Nubo by adopting a consultative approach we can assist companies in the development of their business cases; create IT solutions tailored to their specific industry sector; document existing IT infrastructure; advise on the journey to the Cloud; and create specific operational processes and procedures to ensure that IT is used effectively. We can ease your pain and save you time and money.

Our methodology is via a collective approach, whether this is a larger workshop involving multiple company employees or a simple one-to-one session, to capture the requirements and current barriers for companies to achieve their full potential. Using the information gathered a fully documented solution will be developed using our experience from working with majority of the IT providers.

Companies can then choose to go through the tendering process themselves or can work in conjunction with Nubo to seek the right partner and IT solutions. We provide the necessary experience in preparing PQQ, RFI or RFP's, tailored to address specific business requirements.

Nubo are an independent organisation and are not tied to any one Cloud service provider, IT supplier or technology vendor and can therefore offer solutions optimised to the individual company within their agreed budgets and timelines.

Who is Nubo?

Nubo is the brainchild of two highly experienced IT professionals, both having in excess of 30 years in the technology market. With Silicon Valley and multiple vertical-industry experience, their mission is to ensure that no company, regardless of their ambition to be big or small, is restricted by IT. Nubo provides advice and guidance on the development of companies' goals and objectives by assisting in the development of underpinning IT Infrastructure, ensuring that the infrastructure is not a barrier to the company's success.

Adrian White
Chief Executive Officer

Adrian is an experienced technical consultant with over 30 years experience in the delivery of technical services, operational support, solution architecture and design.

Adrian believes that a solution cannot be built without understanding the customer's business and their strategy, so the focus is about ensuring services delivered to customers meet the requirements and underpin the company's operational business model.

Working previously at the MOD (as a nuclear scientist), Daisy Systems Corp (as a European Support Specialist), Anix (as their Technical Operations Manager) and Adapt (as a Solutions Architect) has given Adrian a broad range of experiences and now has changed from the poacher to the game keeper.

Using the broad industry experience Adrian can advise companies on how to utilise their IT infrastructure efficiently and cost effectively. Staying abreast of market trends, yet understanding the practicalities of support, ensures that the solutions deliver the full benefits to our customers.

David Richards
Chief Operating Officer

David Richards is a life-long technology entrepreneur with over 30-years experience in various capacities most notably in high-profile start-ups.

David started his career in wireless R&D at Marconi and then Racal, before moving to Executive IT commercial roles at Daisy Systems, Sun Microsystems (where he was part of the team that launched Java), and Paul Allen's Asymetrix.

In recent years David has used his Silicon Valley experience to help accelerate and finance SMEs. He was previously a mentor to the DTI's Software Business Network (SBN) and then an Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Mentor to the SETsquared business incubation partnership. He has worked with a large variety of SMEs across various sectors.

Using his broad industry experience David can advise companies on how to best marry their business and IT goals. Staying abreast of market trends, yet understanding the practicalities of project and programmes management, ensures that the solutions deliver the full benefits to our customers.
